Weaving Sleeping Mats for the Homeless
Spring Arbor of Salisbury has started a new resident/community project they call “Plastic Weaving.” The project takes ordinary plastic grocery bags and turns them into sleeping mats and tote bags for the homeless. Not only does this help by providing necessary items to those in need, but it is also a great way to recycle the many plastic bags accumulated during visits to the store. At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and are proud of the wonderful way our residents and staff have come together to work on this project to help others. We are committed to being an engaged community partner.
