What additional precautions are you taking to ensure the safety of your clients when placing their home on the market?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Even during the current pandemic\nenvironment, many people still need to sell their homes and move. Others are\nstill choosing to move and not allowing the pandemic to stop them. We are\ntaking several extra precautions when showing homes. We are doing lots of video\ntours beyond what we used to do in the past. We allow sellers to control\nwhether they want the agents and potential buyers to wear masks, booties and\ngloves when entering their homes. We do not put clients in the cars with our\nagents but just meet the people at the properties. We are also not conducting\ntraditional open houses, and we\u2019re social distancing during showings as well as\nnot shaking hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is the current market? Why is now a great time to buy?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is hard to believe, but the market is hot.\nWe set a record, selling more houses in April than we sold in any months over\nthe last 12 years. In May, we broke our all-time record over the last 33 years\nwith more sales than any month since we have been in business. People are\nbuying because interest rates are crazy low, and houses are continuing to go up\nin value. If people wait, interest rates will probably go higher, and prices\nwill be higher. People have realized during this pandemic how important having\na nice home is now that we are spending more time in our homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
